film provides both indoor and outdoor protection to threads against the damaging effects of rust, salt
spray corrosion, H2S, contamination, moisture, and downhole chemicals.
Liquid-O-Ring 118 Thread Gard is especially recommended for protection of threads where easy removal of the protective film is desirable.Liquid-O-Ring 118 Thread Gard is used on wire rope as a lubricant and for protection against H2S and downhole chemicals such as calcium chloride. Liquid-O-Ring 118 Thread Gard may be applied by brushing or spraying.
