Liquid-O-Ring 717 Leg Grease is an economical black, water resistant grease designed for use as a leg grease on lift boats. It is water-resistant and has properties that enable it to adhere to the legs in extended underwater service. Liquid-O-Ring 717 Leg Grease contains graphite, which provides lubrication to gears under heavy loads and extended periods of exposure to salt water environments experienced in off shore operations. Liquid-O-Ring 717 Leg Grease can also be used as an open gear grease in industrial applications where water-resistance is required.
Liquid-O-Ring 717 Leg Grease is manufactured specifically for jack-up or spud barge applications. Due to its highly adhesive properties, Liquid-O-Ring 717 Leg Grease is an ideal lubricant/dressing for open gears, dipper sticks on power shovels, rock-drill stems, marine wire rope, underwater equipment, and industrial applications where extreme resistance to water washout is desirable.
