Protekto-Coat® 1114 is a HAPS-free, environmentally friendly pipe coating formulated to provide excellent long-term protective coating to external tubular surfaces while the pipe is in storage. This premium, water-based, clear pipe coating is the result of the latest available technology in waterborne coatings in terms of metal protection. It is manufactured using biodegradable raw materials. This fast drying coating provides low VOC emissions and exhibits good adhesion to steel surfaces. Protekto-Coat® 1114 provides a high gloss finished coating which results in long lasting protection against corrosion without flash rusting, thus minimizing metal loss. Protekto Coat® 1114 is a high performance coating having excellent impact resistance while providing good surface penetration. Protekto-Coat® 1114 produces a clear, durable film that resists cracking, peeling, or scaling off under varying conditions.
Protekto-Coat® 1114 can be used for tubing, casing, line pipe, drill pipe, coiled tubing, pipe racks, steel tanks, structural steel, and drilling rigs.
